Package Question

It is not unusual at all for the packages to miss being scanned at one stop or another. Another factor is the back up in flights because of Omar. It might take them extra time to get everything (and everybody) where they need to go. They cut the number of flights that come to STT and most of them are fully booked and fully loaded. An interruption in fights causes all kinds of problems.
Lulu -- I totally know how you feel! I personally like to micromanage the preparation aspects of my vacations and always feel unsettled when I drop my package off at the post office!!! Things that are out of my control drive me nuts. The one time when my package took over three weeks to get there, I actually initiated an inquiry with the usps. They emailed me back and asked for details, and attempted to track it down for me. Thankfully, it arrived without having to go through the process, but it certainly can't hurt to check.

Now I feel a little silly for worrying about nothing, but thanks to all of you for your advice and suggestions.
I just wish I could take sunscreen on the plane, and then I wouldn't be all stressed out about the stuff in that box. It wasn't anything we couldn't replace, but I'm not a big fan of paying for things twice.
