Ha! You took the words right off my fingers! My next blog entry is going to highlight his plans to give $850 billion to world poverty.verjoy wrote:pjayer-
And Obama did not vote for this?
Sorry, I'm afraid he did.
And he wants to give another 845 billion (.7% of the GNP) over the next 13 years to the UN over and above the foreign aid we already give. The Global Poverty Act-S2433. The UN is salivating over this, and they would have the option to increase the levy if they see fit. This is one of the few bills that Obama can claim.
What about Detroit, I ask?

So, Soxfan, the market is tanking because of an impending Obama victory? That is a silly argument.
I swear I read something about the market drop being as a result of the mortgage/credit "crises."
Oh, and to the poster who said that the "big boys" are going to sell because of the possibility of Obama winning, that is equally as inane. The market is low...and it may go lower. That is when the "big boys" buy.
Don't you realize that the only ones buying the fear that you continue to peddle are your fellow conservatives.

Wisconsin, smell the dairy air
Did you read the article I posted as an example of this? The one that talks about the Dolphins' owner speeding up his timetable for sale of 45% of his team - because Obama will raise cap gains.Pete (Mr. Marcia) wrote:So, Soxfan, the market is tanking because of an impending Obama victory? T

C'mon. Do you think these people get rich by being stupid? Or, don't you think they too can read the tea leaves?
How did things go during the Carter administration? We're headed for that again, only on a much much larger scale.

The big boys don't "capitulate." And, as you state, they will buy back again.SJfromNJ wrote:Wrong again Pete. When it come to paying high taxes (cap gains) the big boys get out first then after capitulation, they will buy back in 10-20% lower thus offsetting the increase in cap gains.Pete (Mr. Marcia) wrote:So, Soxfan, the market is tanking because of an impending Obama victory? Chicken littles out there...the sky will not fall when Obama becomes President. You folks count on the fear argument. I'm just saying that it stopped working a long time ago. That's why, when the sun comes up on November 5, Obama will be the next President. You only have your own failed politics and policies to blame.
I feel your pain. It sucks when your party is in the White House and you can't keep it. Ever wonder why? Have you taken the time to look at why your message is not resonating? Maybe, just maybe, it's because we're all sick of your sh!t. I am.

Well, then. That's some friendly discourse Pete.Pete (Mr. Marcia) wrote:The big boys don't "capitulate." And, as you state, they will buy back again.SJfromNJ wrote:Wrong again Pete. Again I ask...How did things go during the Carter Admin? That was the last administration that applied the principles that your boy espouses.

Can't answer a simple question, can you Pete?
Are you implying that my use of the term "boy" was racist in nature?
I guess you and SJfromNJ were wrong for using the term "Big Boys" to describe investors?
Grow up man and get a little levity in your life - we're only here for a short time.

The "tit for tat" here is amazing. You all really need to get to the islands fast! Even some frequent flier island folks are uptight. I'm not tryig to referee this but rather amazed at the difference between the travel forum with the same individuals and this one. You are of a different breed here. Listen to yourselves. Eat some mushrooms or something, brownies...anything.
Mmmm. Could go for a brownie right now. Probably not the kind to which I think you are referring though.Terry wrote:The "tit for tat" here is amazing. You all really need to get to the islands fast! WE
Feels alittle like South vs North and East vs West. Is there a civil war that broke out during this that I didn't catch.
And the whole FTA breaking up the Tenn. area folks suspected of trying to kill blacks is way out there. Did the KKK become a big thing again?
To be honest the KKK never left my town in CO. Pretty amazing.
My neighbor volunteered for hours today for Obama campaign and got her yard sign stolen. Explain that.
I know I am not part of your cult...STJ. I come and visit and we do our own thing. We don't get into the groupie thing...but we see you at the bars and enjoy your passion. It's just our style.
Keep the peace
