Post your fall colors
Post your fall colors
I'd like to see fall color pictures from all over the world. They were very pretty here in WI this year, but unfortunately I did not always have my camera with me when I was driving.
Here is one pretty tree that I saw in Milwaukee.

This is Montgomery WV, just north of where we used to live. The local boating group makes an annual trip up the river to Montgomery. We've always made the trip, first one we've missed. The colors are usually brighter, but it's been really dry so not as much color.

Out here in Colorado we don't have the vivid reds and oranges of the eastern US, but the aspen have a nice golden color and the scrub (Gambrel) oaks are kind of a burnt orange.

[quote="SJfromNJWhat river is this? I went WW rafting on the New and the Upper and Lower Gauley will rock your world when they open the damm! It went from zero to "OH my God" real fast.[/quote]
It's the Kanawha River which is created from the merging of the New and Gauley rivers. We also boat on Summersville lake which is on the other side of the damm that they release for the fall WW rafting season.

I too like to see the colours in fall, and the pics here are all very pretty - love the last one from mbw!
Here in DK we don't have such red colours as seen in USA, but here are a couple of pics from this weekend in our cottage in Boennerup.
