hackers in Villa rental sites
hackers in Villa rental sites
FYI i saw this on the tripadvisor forum and thought it would be a good idea to make others aware of this.

it appears that hackers get into the address book of persons who have rented (via VRBO?--other sites?) or plan on renting from them and ask for money-I am sure most people wouldn't send money without checking things out but if you have a prior relationship with someone, you might not be so careful. in anyevent, it appears to hit Yahoo users most (according to one of the posters )

I think it is just a virus, not a hack into their actual site/server. There is a thread on VINow with the same thing, but it isn't a business. They say the emails are coming from address that are ONE letter off from someone already in their address book. I guess every Windows user should update their virus definitions and run a scan to check for viruses.
