There, I've said it.
Hate 'em.
I'm going to put up a sign at Connections tomorrow also.
"Free Chickens from a Very Good Neighborhood.
You Catch 'Em, They're Yours."
My, my...Haiku Ruth....with a little editing:

I don't like roosters
there I said it, I hate em
A sign will go up

Free chickens catch them they're yours
I feel much better

We had a similar goat-on-the-table incident at Miss Lucys and it's one of the resons we keep going back!

My husband, always the dog trainer, decided to try and train one of the goats to sit using food as positive reinforcement. It ended up being a very funny picture that we have framed on our bureau! Dude, goats don't sit.

Very amusing thread.

Ruth and Bert you are toooo funny!

The only chickens that truly disturb me are the ones running around at Vie's while we're munching on her yummy garlic chicken.

I actually like the roosters in the morning as I am an early riser so they don't bother me. Now the Honey has a bad disliking of birds in general she says there dirty and was pecked by chickens as a kid. Guess we will get caryout from Vies as I want to try it but the chicken presence would not make for a fun dinner for her. She does enjoy eating chicken though.

I am also an early riser. I'm up between 5 and 5:30am. The roosters on St. John, however, think 2:30 is dawn. That's a time when I really like to be sleeping.
