I am so relieved to hear that everyone is ok & the storm didn't cause much damage. You were all in my thoughts yesterday & last night. I couldn't wait to check on you all this morning. I am no stranger to hurricanes, so I was really worried about everyone.

WHOA! It never ceases to amaze me the power that this group has and their connection with the Big Guy! All of our thoughts and Prayers were felt and heard apparently. Am sooo glad everyone is safe, sound and dry.......even tho you all are waiting for the WAPA report later today. Things look pretty darn good on the web cams!!

Now......could everyone here please pray for my 401K??? PLEASE??

Yeah - so relieved that this thing went in the other direction. I hope all the other islands were spared as well. Thanks for the live reports!

What great news!! So glad to hear this morning that y'all dodged a bullet! I too was concerned when I turned on the news this AM and heard that Omar was category 3. Hurried down to my computer and got the good news!!!

Good luck with clean up!

Are there Sunday Beach Bar gatherings?

Cat
When will you be there, Cat? I know we're having one on Nov. 9th.

When I woke up this morning those bozos on the Weather Channel kept saying it was a category 3 last night and everything was nice and sunny now, but they didn't tell me what happened in the middle. I rushed to work to see how it went (priorities, eh?).

I'm so glad this wasn't bad for you, but I have not yet heard from folks I know on STX, which sounds like it got the worst of it. I'm guessing they don't have power.

So relieved that all are well! I was worried sick also. The big guy really did hear all of our Forum prayers and the bonus is the Phillies are in the World Series - go Phils!

Good question. Reports indicate that the BVIs were spared too. An upper level shear came out of the west so Omar was lopsided out to the east. St. Martin, St. Barts and St Kitts may have even gotten it worse even though Omar passed closer to STT, STJ and the BVIs.

There was a report out of Jost this morning, and apparently the only damage was that the road to Foxy's was washed out.

And the Weather Channel said that TD-16, which was the next storm they expected to come through, has completely fizzled out!

Yea!! Power is back on, so now we have cable again. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the fact we were only without power for less than 12 hours and never lost our internet connection. I stayed up most the night texting with a friend. I don't know what I would have done with out communication last night. Being able to keep up with whats going on and sharing information with everyone was soooooo helpful. It definitely took the edge off.

So glad to hear everyone seems to be okay. Haven't heard from Randy or Pia... but hope they'll give us good news later in the day!
