We've seen it all. Its part of the experience. My favorite was the female rat swimming in our pool, that was joined by the horny mail rat while we tried to get her out of the pool.

Scorpions? They don't chase you.

My favorite critter story is the rat in the middle of the kitchen in its death throes when we returned from the beach-good size ten incher w/o tail. The villa had several baited rat traps and this rat chose to die in the middle of the floor.

My kids thought it was poignant as UB40 had released "A Rat in Mi Kitchen" that year.
