Suggest you listen to the Kenny Chesney song "Theres Something Sexy About the Rain" and try to convince yourself its true:)

Quiet Mon is a cool place to be. You can sit out on the balcony and watch the water whoosh down the street. Plus, lots of people go there when it rains and you tend to have some great conversation with all kinds of people. Really, most of the bars will be pretty busy, so you can socialize at most of them when it rains.

Hiking, snorkeling, and that sort of thing are good to do if it is not raining hard. So for this one, stay away from doing those things. There will be flash flooding and hiking in a gut would be very dangerous. The sea will probably be dangerous as well. Keep safe and be smart!

sailorgirl rules!!!
Actually snorkeling sounds pretty cool, too. Would there be more bugs though?
And passing up an afternoon at Quiet Mon would be sinful!!!
10 days to go!!!

Good advice, stjohnjulie. My next door neighbors are on island right now with three children. I hope they're getting good advice from their villa management company or other locals and are taking necessary precautions.

Ya, sounds like things are stirring up a bit?! The last time we saw this kind of weather there were land slides.
