We hope all is well with you and yours. Saw some disturbing video from out that way on the news this morning. Keep us up to date.
How many more days?
I could use some help getting the ash off my car and getting the smell out of my clothing. May open the windows today. Man, it is bad with the blowing of the smoke over my way.
Not as bad if you live in the area though. Winds settled down so should be a bit better today in the control. Live close to the fire but not in it.

Hi! Thanks for asking! So far, we're ok. We're about 80 - 100 miles south of the fires you're seeing so much on TV. The one closest to us is on Camp Pendeleton, but unless that gets crazy out of control, not really a threat to us. So far we have no ash and although we can see the smoke from Pendlton, we can't smell it yet, either.
Last year the fires were much closer to us, but still not a scary threat. Although I live in an area with plenty of surrounding brush, a fire would have to burn through a lot of expensive houses before it got to us, and you KNOW they'd protect those million dollar homes before it got to our $400,000 one! (LOL! a year or so ago our house was worth $600,000! - aagghh!)
