JT, what's this about a story book tale? If people think STJ Ruth's candidacy isn't real, we'll never get forumites to sign up for her cabinet. After all, this isn't some sort of parallel universe where we just make s**t up as we go along. From now on, I encourage you to stick to truthiness and set aside the facts. Now, keep up the good work. I look forward to future updates.
Ok,How about if I edit my post to story book "tail"?
And I think VickiH should be considered for Head of Transportation 'cause she seems to be always going somewhere and doing nothing. She might as well be doing it at taxpayer's expense.

I never gave my qualifications for the job I applied for. I was going to write a press release, but that is too much like "real work," and as you can see I'm all about not doing that today!

Actually, I don't want you to think I'm a slacker, so I'll try to spell everything correctly, if that helps.

As far as drinking, I'm pretty good at it. I have a fancy new blender that makes perfect drinks. I might make bushwackers tonight.

Does anyone think it's more than just coincidence that the Dow Jones and European and Asian markets are experiencing a surge just two days after STJ RUTH's candidacy was announced?

One more confidential message to the intended recipient:

(JT, I'll get back with you as soon as the final results of the opinion poll arrive. Right now, it looks like "tail" is good. But so far, 90% of the respondents have been male which might tend to skew the findings.)

Though she is keeping her choice for vice president secret,it's being reported that presidential candidate STJ Ruth, in anticipation of a near-certain victory in next month's presidential election, is already considering numerous names to fill her cabinet positions. Word is that much vilified Wisconsin attorney Pete[Mr. Marcia] is angling for the top spot with Health and Inhumane Services. Also, it's been said Blacksburg, VA woodworker extraordinaire Jorge is being prominently mentioned for a high level spot, but is already requesting that he be supplied with a Head Administrator. OK Waterguy. You're more than qualified. 8)

SoxFan, I believe STJ Ruth isn't interested in playing partisan politics and has opened the nominating process to everyone. Do you have a particular cabinet position you're interested in? If not, I would be happy make some suggestions then let you choose. :P

BEEP,BEEP,BEEP! THIS JUST IN!!!
Reports are filtering in that STJ Ruth's campaign headquarters were going to post an ad for qualified applicants for heading the Dept. of Sanitation, but didn't want to be accused of stirring up $h#* i.e. [stuff]. Meanwhile world markets are soaring upwards on the likelihood of her upcoming election. Details to follow as they are misconstrued. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Assuming that President Ruth is going to move the White House to St. John, then I would like to apply for a position on her staff. Can I be the cook? :D Hopefully President Ruth's budget will cover staff housing or I will be out of luck!

I should like to submit my qualifications as the Secretary of the Interior:

I have literally been lost on every road on St. John because I firmly believe in supporting American made products (ok, mostly rum or Sky vodka, although I do prefer the Jeep over the Suzuki while on vacay)

I'm not a very strong swimmer, so I can't venture too far out when snorkeling - your bound to find me at any time of the day or night.

I like parks - especially parks in the Virgin Islands, and fully support protecting the public lands.

I would like to say I conserve gas, but do my husbands emissions count against me?

I fully support all manners of foreign diplomacy and would do my part to further all foreign relations - I have barely traveled outside of my own state much less the world. For instance - I have never been to the BVI, never met Foxy - nada. Bring it on - it's time to start and you're never too old for a new beginning.

So there you have it in a nutshell. I promise to remain on island, drink superior American made adult beverages, not to venture out to sea alone, hang out in the park and make sure it's ok, make multiple trips to the BVI's and visit our Ambassadors there. And I only need 100 billion to do it (Isn't Bongo Bongo for sale? I will need a wonderful place to live) I thank you for your consideration. Please don't email me with questions I don't want to answer. Only important things - such as my favorite stemware.

Is the Party Pooper position still open, or has that been filled?
I've had an inquiry.

My favorite stemware: red Solo cup.

There's no point in lying during the vetting process -- everyone gets caught.

If Ruth is using money out of the budget to buy us places to live, I call dibs on KC's house. Not because I like him (I really don't), but because it's HUGE and I have lots of friends.

And, I can make extra money by giving tours to the crazies. And you thought Beverly was the VI goddess of tourism!

If we're spending money on real estate, my first official recommendation is to throw 30 million in the pot for Maho -- and leave it just the way it is.

But, that goes without saying, doesn't it?
