XIG, at first I didn't catch on, but I think I do now.

I'm not sure if I "get it," but I'm a little slow on the uptake.

Anyhow, this is a fun forum. I learn lots here everyday.

After you check into what's going on in this post, and I knew you couldn't help yourself, look at the variety of topics just on the first page.
Something for everyone, and it keeps the focus on the Travel Forum on St John, and off of shaved cola nuts.

I actually come here first, because I am amazed at what I find.

Thanks again to Anthony {Guest of the World} for adding this feature.

I do not even peek at any topic that involves hand bags, jewelry or KC {or his Sunshine Band}. But I will defend and support your right to do so.

So post away you miscreants, psychopaths, and mental defectives {like me}. If only my lips didn't move while I am reading...

a pro-active bump to remind everyone to have a great week and vote, vote, vote.

A democrat in Illinois, upon meeting Mayor Daley of Chicago {fill in your choice of candidate} exclaimed, "Mr Daley, I Love you so much, I wish there was a way for me to vote for you every day", to which he replied, "Well young lady, maybe there is"...

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a liberal Democrat. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were liberal Democrats too. Not really knowing what a liberal Democrat was, but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands flew up into the air. There was, however, one exception. A girl named Lucy had not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.` Because I`m not a liberal Democrat.``Then,` asks the teacher, `What are you?``Why I`m a proud conservative Republican,` boasts the little girl. The teacher, a little perturbed and her face slightly red, asked Lucy why sheis a conservative Republican.`Well, I was brought up to trust in myself instead of relying on an intrusive government to care for me and do all of my thinking. My Dad and Mom are conservative Republicans, and I am a conservative Republican too.`The teacher, now angry, loudly says, `That`s no reason! What if your Mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?`She pauses, and lets out a smile. `Then,` Lucy says, `I`d be a liberal Democrat

Early one morning during the Presidential Campaign, John McCain heard a knock on his front door. He opened the door to find a high-school-age girl wearing a "Vote for McCain" t-shirt.

"I saw you on TV last night, debating with the other candidates," she said.

McCain nodded. "The other candidates say I'm too old," he said. "They say I'm losing my memory and that I won't be able to remember the names of foreign leaders if I'm elected. But I'm going to prove them wrong."

"Good," said the girl.

"Now tell me, young lady," said McCain, "what is your name?"

The girl looked confused. "It's ME, Grandpa."
