X-- you are not alone. I have Coach, Burberry, et al cluttering my closet-- wtiht the Stuart Weitzman shoe collection to match!!

Love them all like children. I've found that the better bags are worth the investment as they tend to last longer especially my Burberry bags.

Although I generally do not take these with me on travel. When I travel I prefer my Francesco Biasia bags because they have along strap that I can wear across the body.

Tumi also has some really cute styles that do double duty.

But when I go to STJ the only bag I use is my small Kipling Backpack.
*Another fine scatterbrained production

Hi everyone - Ellen here. I'm Anthony's wife - usually a lurker, but what better time to jump in than for a conversation about shoes and bags. They probably won't ship to italy - but I need a look anyway. Can someone invite me to to Regents Secret and what's the other site, Ruella? Thanks! My email is: ellenearle at gmail dot com

I wish I was just a little bit of a clothes/bag/shoe fanatic. You ladies sound like you have lots of fun. (Well, I have fun too. I just do it with a purse I got at Walmart.)

Sometimes I wish I were more of a girly girl, but then I think about how much I save buy not buying make-up, and it's ok.

Oh Lulu, you just mentioned one of my worst weaknesses....makeup! I LOVE Sephora! The funny thing is that I don't wear a lot of makeup at all, but I love all those skin creams and potions and lipsticks, etc. etc.!

Another bad spending habit exposed!

I'm addicted to Bath & Body Works, and I always smell very nice. I just rarely wear make-up and wouldn't know what Manolos and Prada were if I weren't addicted to "Sex and the City."

Manolos: evil instruments of torture invented by people that won't ever have to wear them (men).

Signed by a proud dansko clog wearer.

I guess I have shoe issues in the respect that I pay a fortune to wear Birkenstocks as much as possible. So, my feet aren't as pretty as everyone else's; I'm lots more comfy.

I do have a few pairs of expensive shoes that were given to me by my friend who loves to shop, but I couldn't have ever spent $200-$300 on shoes if I bought them. Part of the reason is because I have a bit of a birth defect that affects my hips, and I ruin shoes pretty easily -- even the expensive ones!

I love my Kipling backpack in black for travel. I bring it instead of a purse because it can hold so much stuff and it's cute, too.

As for shoes... at 5' 11" I don't wear alot of high heels. (Good thing DH is 6'3" so I can sometimes!) I walk alot, and sadly many women's dress shoes are just not shaped like feet! So I'm usually in fairly casual shoes like Clark's etc when I go to the office (it's about a 15 minute walk from the train station.) But I love my Franco Sarto boots. High heels but soooo comfortable I can wear them all day and walk to and from the train station, no problem!

I would also like to be invited to the ruelala site... not for me but for my budding fashionista middle schooler! I'll PM my email address.

I have to admit that I would never put out the $$$ for Manolos, but when I pass the store window I drool. And because of my bad knees, I can't even wear heels any more! Yet, I drool over the shoes I can't afford and can't wear. Sick.

So, Saturday, I went to a party. My friend who's blind was getting a ride to the liquor store because she forgot to bring the tequila to go with her margarita mix. She says to me "Hand me my purse, please. It's the Prada."

I looked at the counter where all the ladies had put their purses, they all looked nice and expensive (well, except for my $7 Wal-mart purse). I said "I buy my purses at Wal-mart, Can someone help me figure out which one is a Prada?"

She said it had a logo on it, which was hidden under someone's sweater...

I do like Vera Bradleys and want to go buy them, but then I remember that I can eat for a week for what they charge for a purse. (Or lately, because the trip is so close -- I think. Holy crap! That's a lobster at Morgan's Mango.)

I vote for Lobster at Morgan' Mango, and paying for it from your $7 Wal-Mart purse! We should hang out together, I have a $14 purse from Kohls!

They were supposed to build a Kohl's in the new mall near my house, but it fell through. I like Target purses, but I find some of them to be a little pricy.

I'm not much for big purses either. Just enough space for a wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, check book and chapstick. That's all I need.

I'm actually thinking I will probably not even take my purse to St. John. I have this little change purse that is big enough for a little cash, credit card and ID, so I may just bring it along for the week.
