USVI DVDs?
USVI DVDs?
Hey Folks- Does anyone have a favorite DVD that includes "a dose" of STJ and/or the USVI?
Looking for a "video fix" every now and then
I have one that is called "Travel with Kids Caribbean" that is pretty good...has PR, STT, STJ, Tortola, VG...I'd like something more "adult focused".
I have the "carfree geatways ST John USVI DVD, which is fair to poor IMHO (it is a villa marketing video).
And I also have a DVD called "treasures of the South Caribbean" which includes Saint Thomas...funny thing is they say Trunk Bay is on STT...sheesh-do your homework!
Has anyone seen this one? :

We bought that one before moving down here. Its pretty good. It shows a little of all three islands and a little about living here ... Cisterns, keep left, etc. I bought it mainly for my mom so she could see where we were moving since she's never been to this part of the world. I wanted her to see how beautiful it is to help her understand why we did this

Last year, a special came up on The Travel Channel called "Your Travel Guide - The US Virgin Islands". Someone on the forum wanted to see it, so I capped it and put it on Youtube.
While not a DVD, it may give you a little Iphone or At-Work viewing pleasure....
Funnily enough, I got a copyright infringement notice from Youtube about it, but a note that the publisher wanted it to stay up!! Never seen that before!
Part 1
Part 2
For Iphone or other mobile player, use the tags mrb, and/or, mrsb.

Deb- Thanks, I'll probably end up putting it on my xmas list...what the heck.
MrB- Thanks for sharing the YouTube stuff...I'll check it out.
Reminds me of when I found the Anthony Bourdain "No Reservations" videos of Cusco Peru on You tube....
Pretty cool free videos.
Sometimes the videos get me through the day...an escape....
Cheers
