Silly question for the girls..
Silly question for the girls..
There's no more wearing white shorts, skirts or capris around here after labor day.
How's it work down in the Islands.
Bring them? Leave them home?

Connie, I hate to comment on such an emotionally-charged, controversial topic. But this really hit a nerve with me. I believe you should bring those white clothes and wear them proudly. There! I've said it and make no apologies. God, I feel so much better. Have a great trip.

Hey girlfriend do you not watch "What Not To Wear" or read "InStyle" magazine - the old rule of "no white after Labor Day" does soooooo not apply in 2008

Having said that, in the islands is especialy does not apply (even if you are sticking to the old rules) - bring it on
See ya in white girlfriend

I always find it amusing when you people east of the Mississippi talk about not wearing white after Labor Day. I guess even some people west of the Mississippi follow the same rules. I've always heard about "people like you", but here in California it's just never been that way. We wear white whenever we feel like it. I just wore my white jeans, sandals and a red tank top today... and went out in public!
