Hi!

I'm here, but am so busy at work that I don't have the time to be on forum so often. I check it out every once in a while.

Other than that I'm preparing for the trip, and try to build up a strengh that I think will be much needed  Some fun stuff planned off forum also.

I can't wait. It's just 4 weeks to departure date! It's going to be so much fun meeting you all!

I've been on the forum some and have done some posting! I am not really supposed to be on it at work either.
We have been talking via e-mail and are psyched!!!!! 8)

We are in our twenties now! The first group arrives in 28 days and the second 29!

See you soon Rick. Are you really ready for us?
Also, I will be driving, so look out!

Hi Rick (and Christine), omg, I soooooo can't wait for this trip. My hubby and I just built a new house (it's been a long year) and we've been absolute slaves to it. We FINALLY just moved in over the weekend. If I never see another paint brush in my life it, will be too soon. Thank god for CT Tart #2 (Gina) for helping us. I've barely had enough time to dwell on my recent empty-nest syndrome and miss my kids; lol. Seriously, I'm totally psyched for this trip and am looking forward to hanging out with my new sisters, you and Christine and all the great people from the forum that will be on island. See you all soon! Ali~

Like Maggy, I've been drowning in work. I check the forum but don't have a lot of time to post. I can't believe I only have 29 more days to go until I meet all these great girls (I've only met VaGirl prior to the trip). We have made some fun plans and I'm ready to get started. Looking forward also to meeting Rick, Christine, Augie and all the rest :D

They live... has Cypressgirl OD'ed on STJ?

I think we're ready for the wild women. But, are you ready for each other?

I've been off and on the forum - work's super busy and with summer weather, I don't spend much free time in doors (and my blackberry isn't fun to post with).

After almost a year of emailing back and forth (being discontinued on Trip Hub), I think we're ready for each other as well as the rest of you (not sure about the mystery guests though).

Despite all the airline changes, we somehow managed to have Ksea, VaGirl and me arrive on the same plane from Miami.

see you all soon!

Party in Atlanta too!

I am so ready to meet everyone new and see the old friends!
I just hope that the election doesn't get in the way. I don't really want to talk about it. I am sick of the ads and the bickering on here and I just want to enjoy the island!!
But it will all be over by Wednesday when we are there... :D

Like the rest of the "fine nine" I am a slave to work...it is how most of us in the real world pay for STJ!!!! Before boarding the plane, I have to finalize my 2009 budgets at work and complete all of the staffs' evaluations. The only bright spot in my "work a day world" is the continual taunting of the staff with....Only 30 days now...only 29 days now...only 28 days now. They get the verbal reminders, the visual reminders everytime they enter my office and see Oct 31 circled in red on my very large pictorial STJ calendar, and the similar reminder on both the computer and staff scheduling calendars that shows all those days that I am soaking up Beach and Bushwacker Therapy on a very liberal time table. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Cypress has had some computer problems but she is posting on the off topic forum and I talked to her via PM today. VaGirl is working hard and I talked to her via e-mail yesterday.

I'm here and alive!!!! To be honest, I've had a bit of depression going on with some personal issues and a chronic back issue that has kept me from being as active on the computer as I'd like to be. But I'm psyched up for our SOTB trip and I'll be in "usual" form.

Thanks for asking, Rick. See ya soon!

We arrive October 31st supposedly around 1:00 (It's unclear whether the Cape Air flight is delayed, Priceline says yes and AA says no). Who else will be arriving that day?
When will I see St John again?

I'm here and ready!! Like some of the others, I'm at work when I get on this Forum so I can only check every now and then....admittedly, I do "lurk" every day just to see what's happening 8). I've about driven everybody at work nuts - I think they are READY for me to leave! But paradise awaits and I cannot wait to be on that ferry with that view of STJ in front of me!! Seriously contemplating how I can manage to "miss" my flight home. Hey Ruth, still need some help in your shop??? SOTB II will be a blast, I have no doubt. Can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones! Thanks for "rattling" our chain, Rick - see you in a few :D (and no steep driveway this year!!!)
