VIOL ornament swap UPDATE!!!!!!!!

Post by Xislandgirl »

I just got an email from Elfster about the ornament swap. Just checking to see if people are interested this year.

For those of you that are not familiar, we all sign up on a site and are given a name and address of your VIOL secret santa. You sent them a tropical, islandy ornament and send it by the deadline.

If you are interested, send me a PM with your email address and your real name

If you participated last year, I will still have your info.

****Invitations have been sent, you have until 10/30 to reply to the invite. If you would like to join you can send me a PM until 10/29. Check your SPAM folder if you did not get the invite******************

Ummm, question...if I'm not gonna be in STJ before Christmas, which probably most of us aren't, is it possible to find such an ornament on the "mainland" --in say Chicago??

I have had great luck finding island themed ornaments in New England. Target had a large selection last season as well

When I lived in Detroit, I did an ornament exchange and the person I got happened to mention that they had a beachy-themed tree. I was still able to find tons of stuff in Detroit, so I'm sure Chicago will have stuff.

I definitely want to participate. I'm ready to be in the Christmas spirit!

You can make some real pretty ones, too, with shells & starfish and ribbons & glitter!

If you want to participate and have not sent me a PM, please do tonight. I will be away for the weekend so I won't be able to invite anyone else until Sunday night.

If you sent me your info before today and have not received an email from Elfster, please check your SPAM folder.
