I love the tent cottages with bathrooms and running water, but I love the area at Maho Bay Campgrounds much better. Also, it is really way out there, especially when so many of the restaurants were closed while we were there. It is about as far as you can get from Cruz Bay and there is no gasoline t...

Short Trip Report

Trip Report Oct 6-10 This trip was a short, spur of the moment one which did not include my Sweetie. My son and his family had never had the opportunity to travel to the Caribbean and I so wanted them to be able to experience it. I had just found out that I was being laid off from my job at the end ...

I just paid $70 per day at Hospitality Jeep Rentals for 4 days. Thomas was really friendly with great stories and advice for my 14 yr old grandson about not being average. He makes some great rum punches and isn't that far from the ferry.

We had dinner this past Sunday night at AquaBistro and it was awesome. Wish I had pictures. Grandson had the ribeye, Son had the parmesean crusted grouper, Daughter-in-law had the pasta special with shrimp, lobster and scallops and I had the pan seared scallops. Of course we all split everything up ...

I never saw any. Snorkeled Maho, Cinnamon, Hawksnest, Salt Pond. However, we could not snorkel Trunk on Sunday because of rough sea.

Just got back last night and snorkeled Waterlemon Saturday. I had my son, his wife and their 14 year old son that had never been snorkeling before this trip. They were a little intimidated at first when we got to the deep part but bucked up and went on. It is not that far until it starts getting sha...

Going to Skinny's Thursday to ring Howie's bell. He touched so many lives and it is wonderful the way this forum has kept his memory alive. I know what it feels like. I lost my husband after only 8 short years. We never had the opportunity to travel to the Caribbean. I wish he had a bell I could ring.

Wow, that is beautiful. I have always wanted to go to Aruba but haven't made it yet. I know it would be a long trip. I've been to Grenada and it was wonderful but the trip time left me exausted. First day there was spent in bed.

I have a snorkel story too that really sticks out in my mind. A couple of years ago me and my significant other were at Waterlemon for our last snorkel of the trip. As we were heading back to the beach for the last time this trip, I was slowly creeping along in about 3 ft of water just taking it eas...
