Re: Centerline Road
We stayed on the coral bay side all of last week and passed by this spot often. There are signs on either side indicating that it is a one way road. Orange barricades are out and it really didn't seem to be a problem.
Sorry I don't have any updates on WHEN it would get fixed.

Re: Food Shelf
Thanks everyone! I was mainly worried about the pasta. Anytime I offered to cook it for dinner my husband just wasn't in the mood. I thought he might never want it, but we did end up having that last night.
Good to know about the other options!

Re: "You know there is nothing to do on St. John"
We've been here a week already, and have a few days to go. We've done so much in the past week that we're taking the day off today. Even with another 3 days I know that we will be leaving with things left undone. I plan to do those when we return next year. Now to just plan the next trip....

Food Shelf
Is there a food shelf or something of the like on island? We have some food we may not end up using. I'd rather it go to good use than just tossing it.
Ps - can pasta sauce be in the fridge unopened and then out of the fridge for some time again? Or once it's in there, it should always stay cold?

QUICK! Options for dinner tonight
We are in Coral Bay, staying on St John for the first time. Would like to go out for dinner tonight, but need some suggestions. We ate at Skinny Legs yesterday, and are planning Aqua Bistro on Friday and Miss Lucy's on Sunday. I would like to try something different tonight. We'll be leaving in abou...

Maho Bay Question
With the camps now closing, does that affect the beach as well? I'm headed to St. John in a week!!! First time there, and first time snorkeling. I was planning on going to Maho first as I've heard its a good place for beginning snorkelers. Although I don't want to step on any toes by trespassing. So...

Re: GO Phone
Thank you for the replies! I've finally convinced my fiancee to just go get the GO Phone. No matter what the Best Buy salesman says.

Re: GO Phone
Thanks! Does the GO Phone have roaming charges on St. John? That was one reason the Best Buy guy recommended getting it when we arrive.

GO Phone
Is there a place at the airport or on St. John that we can purchase a GO Phone when we arrive? My fiancee was told by Best Buy that it would be cheaper to purchase one when we get down there rather than here in MN. I'm guessing there isn't a Best Buy on St. John. We aren't planning to go shopping on...

Meals in Villa
I will be on St. John for the first time at the end of May! So excited!! We are planning on making some meals in our villa. Does anyone have some good dinner or lunch ideas? Most lunches will probably be on the beach. The first place we are staying will only have a stove, toaster oven, and grill. So...
