My winter experience is more in the BVI's, but the main difference to me is more Europeans= more speedos!

We stayed there on our first trip to St John. It was FANTASTIC! We were totally isolated. At the time, the house next door was vacant, and the only other house on the hillside, Hawksview Estate, was being built. Glad to hear it is still somewhat private.

I agree. I love the screen, camera, video camera, apps, etc, etc...... I just am having reception issues that I did not have with my 3G.

Just curious why you are taking meat with you. We bought tenderloin roasts and cut steaks. We get some of the best meat down there, and the roasts we bought were the same price as the one we bought at home yesterday.

Just seems like a hassle to go through customs with meat!

As far as groceries, we shopped in Tortola and brought them on the ferry. They will pack the groceries in boxes.
