Thank you for the help everyone. I guess it boils down to the fact that we love St. John enough that not taking advantage of the cheap air fare would be a major mistake. Hopefully we'll see some of you in August.

My wife and I are always searching for airfare deals to St. Thomas from St. Louis, MO. In early/mid August Delta has round trip air fare for $301 (with taxes, etc.). The latest that we have travled to St. John in the past is mid-June. With hurricane season, how risky is it to book a trip in August? ...
