Even though we rented a large jeep to accomodate our party, it was nice to taxi in/out of t...

All four bedrooms @ Southern Cross are not of equal size but each one is roomy enough for 2 people to share. The true master suite upstairs overlooks Chocolate Hole while the second upstairs suite overlooks the Caribbean and pool. The master is the roomiest with the second upstairs suite being a clo...

Southern Cross is a well-maintained villa with four master suites with great space and beautiful views over Chocolate Hole. :D It is only minutes from Cruz Bay so that's an attractive feature. The stalled Pond Bay construction project is visible out to the left but do not consider it a deterrent to ...

Tinkerbelldee on another forum mentioned a product called Purex 3 in 1. It is a lightweight laundry sheet that has the laundry detergent, fabric softener, and anti-static all built in. I bought some the other day. If the product works well, I plan to throw a few sheets in a zip lock and bring it to ...

While you'll always need to grocery shop on St. John, it's nice to be able to prepare ahead and maybe bring things that you'll know you'll need but prefer not to buy. Smaller grocery store list = less time in the market and more time in the land of f...
