thanks everyone for your input. We checked the suggestions and are doing a combo:
we're taking caneel's shuttle ferry over to little dix, hang around for a bit, and then having the folks of Dive BVI meet us @ little dix and take us around to some out of the day places.

So, THANKS 2 all!!!

Years ago, when I lived on STX, we'd see USN practicing w/their P3 Orions. Those suckers would fly so darn low, you could read the writing on the fuselage. This would have been in the 80's and early 90's. I also remember a package of cocaine washing up on the shore in STX....it was off of Cane Bay a...

You should definitely try Big Beard's. They've been operating on STX at least since 1982 when I got there. wwww.bigbeards.com There are other awesome snorkeling off of Cane Bay (north shore) also. Since, as you point out, most outfits take people to Buck Island, if there are other places you want to...

Okay, my fault for not explaining better, we're staying at Caneel for 10 days. I'm looking possibly for a very cool and relaxing daytrip to somewhere. I've called the place on Peter Island, Biras Creek, Guana Island, Little Dix, etc to see if we can come crash on their property (and pay of course) f...

Parasailing's awesome...do it if you get a chance wherever you can. I'm looking for a location to go to and kick back at, not an activity.

Was perhaps wondering visiting another resort (little dix, peter island, etc.) for a day perhaps.

Come on guys....puh-leez!

St. Croix ....national park....kayaking

there is a national park on st. croix: Salt River. It's a nature preserve and one of the largest mangrove estuary around. . It's on your way to North Shore, and you can also access it from (private area) Judith's Fancy. There's kayaking there and it's simply magnificent.

If by "good" you mean Cuban, only buy from a Habanos authorized dealer. Otherwise, you can pretty much bet that you're buying fakes. They may be made in Cuba, but they're more than likely not what the band says they are. There are now many higher grade cigars made outside of Cuba (quality ...

Yes, rooting for Ali & Co against MSU. Hey, we miss the big pictorial of Trunk (right?) Bay at Urb Cafe!!! The new place doesn't have a place for such a cool picture. Gotta' get together sometime and exchange VI stories. You work downtown? Looks like you guys had a blast down there this time.
