LOVE the Donkey Diner folks! They gave me some much needed time with their adorable puppy just when missing my dogs was becoming unbearable.

- The guys at Big Belly Deli are always super busy but take a moment to crack a joke while they put together a sandwich for us.

- Also a kudos to the staff at the Love City convenience store - always served me with a smile.

- Ditto to Skinny Legs!

Another "thumbs up" for Conrad Sutton's - I don't rent cars very often so I'm sure I was a total PITA, but everyone was very nice and I appreciated having a place to park.

Maybe if you tried to book early enough...we called lots of places that had NO cars left a month and a half out. By the time I found someone with a vehicle, we ended up paying for one of the most expensive models. I was so grateful to find one I didn't even try for a discount.

In the New Jersey airport on the way to STJ, the gate agent announces "we are ready to board for St. Thomas! Please come to the gate with your boarding pass and passport out". 50 wild eyed people swamped the counter to tell her about her mistake.

Everyone at Conrad Sutton's was very nice, as promised. The insurance card in my wallet was all we needed. Thanks for the helpful advice!

The nice lady on the phone at Conrad Sutton's assured me that I would only need to bring my insurance card. I've got my fingers crossed! It's my last day of work (leaving tomorrow!), and I'm already drifting away...

We're renting from Conrad Sutton's in a few days. Can anyone give recommendations on what they'll want to see? Will our insurance card be adequate or am I supposed to bring something else? I don't rent cars very often and I don't want any problems.

Thanks again for all the advice. I'm drafting a letter for my niece's mother to sign this weekend! Now if only I could get my 8 month old custody request granted by tribal courts...this would all be so much easier! Living on the Reservation certainly has its quirks.
