Yikes. Flip flops and scorpions are probably a bad mix...

What airline did you use for the direct flight from Boston? I've always had a connection in San Juan.

If you decide to try a place outside of Boston, you may want to consider Castaway's in Bridgewater. It has kind of a Shipwreck Landing feel about it. I recently heard from the owners of Survivan, Long Distance, and White Wing that they won't be operating on St. John come late June. I'm back to the drawing board on booking a charter. Bread on the Water looks interesting - they sail on a 46' Beneteau. I'm crossing my fingers...
