The episode that featured "Into The Mystic" also showed two other villas, "Sea Rock" and "Aria". I had the pleasure of renting "Aria" a couple of months ago in April.

Wow, so much for going to St. John and leaving your hang-ups at home. It's "Love City" folks, relax. A lot of factors go into picking a spot on the beach. High and low tides, direction and path of the sun, time of day, length of stay, proximity to facilities, etc. Given those factors, if y...

Heading to Abaco this weekend for the 5th time. I can't say enough good things about it. It definitely rates a close second to STJ in my book. Simply stunning, remote, and unbelievable locals. Each cay along Abaco has it's own unique personality and flavor. We'll be staying on Elbow Cay this time. ...

It's tough to add any superlative adjectives that haven't already been written. I'll just add that I've been somewhat apathetic about an upcoming trip to St. John over New Year's. Thanks to your pictures and your report, a significant dent has been made in that apathy. Good grief woman how do you ea...

I have stayed in Judy's villa a number of times and even at twice the price she's asking it's definitely a steal - ESPECIALLY given the time of year!

I ran 8 Tuff miles 2 years ago. At the time I was running 6 miles twice a week and averaging about 7 to 8 minute miles on flat terrain. In other words, I did no special training prior to the race other than my normal running routine. I finished 8 Tuff Miles in 1 hour and 20 minutes. My official time...

As already mentioned, it would be a mistake to visit the Abacos expecting St. John, just as it would be to visit St. John and expect the Abacos. If one wants to totally unplug from the world then Abaco is more suited for that type of trip. Abaco also lends itself to more of a "do it yourself&qu...

Re: Bahama out islands

Has anyone visited the out-islands of the Bahamas? I've been looking at a few of them and they all have different personalities! I really liked the look of Andros and Cat Island too. Last May my girlfriend and I traveled to Abaco for the first time and stayed a week at Abaco Inn on Elbow Cay. We re...

This person mistakenly thought you were stopping to pick them up, not realizing you were just stopping for construction traffic. Awkward situation since they're already in your car. St. John is a small place so after awhile everyone's face becomes familiar even if you don't know them personally. Gro...

Jacobs Ladder, the road on which one must travel to reach Sunset Ridge Villas, is notoriously one of the most difficult in St. John to drive on. In some spots only one car can pass so it requires either driving off the road into the bushes or reversing to allow the oncoming car to get by. I've staye...
