Restaurants

Joe's Rum Hut purchased the Panini lease and is expanding it out a bit so it is more open and more on the beach. Paradiso (incidentally, not Paradisio) has changed from an expensive restaurant to a moderate restaurant to a medium-expensive restaurant. Kind of searching for an identity. Ocean Grill i...

There is a current list, as of today anyway, at www.stjohntravelforum.com

I am going to Lime Inn tonight with friends.

My wife's favorite in Coral Bay is Aqua Bistro, but I like Island Blues better. And everyone likes Skinny Legs.

Tage

There are so many good restaurants on St. John that it doesn't seem to matter that one of them closes now and then. Plenty plenty plenty of choices. Just go to Stone Terrace or La Tapa. Or any place that appeals to you. There is a new Italian restaurant that just opened. And in Mongoose, there is a ...

It's the Leyland Sneed

It's the M/V Leyland Sneed, and I have chartered it twice for Christmas parties. Had the whole boat, put a band on board, brought food and drinks, and we cruised around for 3.5 hours or so. What a great party. It usually takes people from St. Thomas to Trunk Bay and they swarm all over the place and...

Hidden Reef

They have a good reputation here on St. John. I know a couple of their guides.

You can see a write-up of them and a few others at www.stjohntravelforum.com in the water activities section.

Probably anybody you choose will show you a great time.

tortola

I've done this a number of times. Of course, I live on St. John, so it's easy to do. We almost always rent a car on Tortola. Have one waiting for us. And then we bop around. You can go all the way to beef island and then take a freebie ferry to Marina Cay - owned by pusser's. Or go to Long Bay and s...
