Re: Photos
Good question, Mary Beth. There is a boat charter company located in the USVIs that is currently using a photo I took on a trip to Great Camanoe in the BVI's on their website. Even has my wife, my daughter, and her friend in it (face down snorkeling) in Lee Bay which they incorrectly reference as Ca...

Water Island - for 1 night?
We will be returning to STT from Virgin Gorda on a Saturday night in March and then flying out on Sunday. Was thinking of staying overnight on Water Island instead of on STT for that single night. Does anyone know if there is a place that rents just for a night?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: St John homes
I looked at buying for about 20 years. The numbers never added up, it was cheaper for us to rent. What did work out was buying a boat that we keep in a marina on St. Thomas, about an hour away from St. John. We can fly in and spend that night at Maho Bay for $15 per night mooring fee. Total cost wa...

The private Necker Tour is available through Gumption at Sea It Clear tours on Virgin Gorda: http://www.seaitcleartours.com Gumption is a fantastic guy and will arrange a tour for a private group. Normally, it's 8-12 on his boat, but you can pay for the boat and have a private tour - and with my 3 y...

Photos from our June trip
Hello all - my family just returned from another incredible trip to the islands. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks this trip with time split between St. John, Jost van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda. The skies were pretty hazy for most of the stay, and it was incredible how dry the islands were. Regardless, we had ...

Here are a few from our trip from last summer. One is Virgin Gorda - love it almost as much as St. John. Congrats, MB. Glad to see you back. I hover here from time to time - next trip is this coming June. I cannot wait. Didn't you stay in Ambiance once? I think that convinced us to stay there about 8 years ago, and we are staying there for a second time this June.

Re: Some new photos
Thanks, MB! They are certainly growing up fast, and traveling with a 2 year old brings a new set of challenges. Hopefully in a few years, we can charter in the BVIs. In the meantime, we can "suffer" with some land based trips. Good to hear from you.

Re: Some new photos
Hi kklay,
The photo of my son jumping off the rock was taken in Virgin Gorda at Guavaberry Spring Bay. We spent our second week on Virgin Gorda. A link to the rest of my photo galleries (several prior trips to the US and BVIs) can be found here:

Some new photos
I spent a week in STJ and a second week in Virgin Gorda during the end of June. The Sahara Dust was thick our second week, and that didn't make the skies very pretty. But the water was beautiful the entire time. Here are some quick photos from the trip and a link to all the rest. Cheers! http://rcpl...

You know, PSUfan, you usually have to pay extra for that!
Sounds like we will give Emerald Beach a try. Thanks for all the feedback. The next month can't pass quickly enough.

Single night on St. Thomas?
Need some help here. Veteran of traveling to St. John and the BVI's, but on this trip I am taking my 2 year old daughter. Two week trip, and the second is on Virgin Gorda. We are flying into and out of St. Thomas. I'm thinking of ferrying back from Virgin Gorda the day before our flight to break up ...

Re: Great Escape Catherineberg Reviews
There was, as I remember, quite a bit of space around the pool. The pool was downstairs from the living area, and there is definitely space outside the living area (same level as the kitchen) to eat. We were there with 8 people, and I know we ate outside every night. Assume that none of this has cha...

Re: Great Escape Catherineberg Reviews
I stayed there about 5 years ago. You can find some pictures taken from the villa here: http://rcplanefan.zenfolio.com/p425402283 I don't think I took any pictures of the interior. What would you like to know? It's been a while, but I can try to remember if you want to know something specific. Here ...

Enjoyed that! We stayed in Aria villa back in 2005. There are some photos here:

Looks like a great way to celebrate 40 years together. I hope you return in 10 years and make another video for us to enjoy again.
Congratulations!
