My memory failed me its not Great Cruz Bay Rd you want its Chocolate hole east and bear right at the first road this will take you down to a spot you can park and enter Chocolate Hole. I can't even blame that brain lapse on rum.

A number of people in my group walked to the Westin several times. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes depending on your pace. The way back ...

Paradiso is one of my favorites

We love Paradiso and now that Paul Trujillo (sp?) is in place as the chef it is even better. Paul was the chef at Ten Tables another favoite before it closed. Pricing seems to be reasonable and I am told by "Micheal" a long time St. John waiter who came over from Ten Tables and Tage that P...

Car rentals

:D It is amazing how nothing stirs up interest like car rentals in the USVI. Budget car rental at the King airport in STT does allow you to take the car to St. John. It is one of the few if not only. Check the cars out thoroughly before you leave which is good advice from any of these rental agencie...

Question about barge in Red Hook

Nice report on you trip! I am curious though about the 3 dollar charge you paid when entering the Red Hook Ferry area. I have never stopped at the "shack" and just driven to the where the barge loads and no one ever says a thing. In fact I often slow down and wave just to be sociable. So m...
