Regarding our cruise - we were on Royal Carribean's Serenade of the Seas for 7 nts. It leaves out of San Juan and travels to St Thomas, St Martin, Antigua, St Lucia and Barbados then a day at sea back to San Juan. This was our second cruise (1st on Princess to Western Caribbean). Love this cruise an...

Trip Report 3/7-3/14
We are recently back from our first trip to St. John and loved it. Fantastic weather all week and just a perfect trip. The water is absolutely gorgeous, the island beautiful and the pace wonderful. I'm sure we will return one day. Since I used this site a lot in planning I thought I'd give back to s...

Lime Inn Shrimp Night?
Hi -
I've seen mentioned the Lime Inn all-you-can-eat shrimp night and have questions?
Is it Wed. night?
Is the shrimp peel and eat or how served?
How much is it?
Would you recommend reservations?
Thanks

Thanks all for the info. It will be helpful in the planning... And Rick G - I lived in DC for 8 yrs before here. I know a little about the distance (although I was only coming as far as Anchorage) since for a couple of years I was travelling DC to Anchorage about every 2-3 months. Racked up the FF m...

Forms of payment for car ferry, grocery etc?

Don't know which one we'll use but will be doing a ow ticket each way. Also anyone know of resturants that DON'T take credit cards - if so w...

Groceries?
We will be getting on the island after 7pm and will need to pick up a few provisions - milk, water, beer, sodas, bread and some fruit and snacks. We will have a jeep and be staying in the Chocolate Hole area....any suggestions on where to shop? and where that is? Thanks.

Miss Lucy's
More advice sought -
Is Miss Lucy's worth a visit?
If so should we make a point of going particularly for Sunday brunch (because it is so much better somehow) or just anytime?
Is Miss Lucy's open lunch and dinner?
Where is it specifically?
THANKS!

Thanks papabou
That information is exactly what I needed. Obviously there is nothing I can do about it or where we are staying at this point but I am a person that would rather know what to exactly then be in la-la land arrive and be disappointed/mad whatever. I think I can deal with a clearing and some earth movi...

Concerned about construction!

Now told there is some 500 yds away but recently it was shut down because of $$ or permits or something. First - can anyon...

Best places for lunch
Hi -
Looking for the best places to grab lunch - esp interested in places where it is very casual and where you could go in after being at the beach in the morning.
Also where is Vie's?
