Groceries?

Post by AKDeputyDog »

We will be getting on the island after 7pm and will need to pick up a few provisions - milk, water, beer, sodas, bread and some fruit and snacks. We will have a jeep and be staying in the Chocolate Hole area....any suggestions on where to shop? and where that is? Thanks.

Your best bet will be starfish it will be on your left as you leave town The next day you can look for pine pease it is a little harder to find just before you go up the hill on the left

We hit Pine Peace Market for the quick in and out. As you head out South Shore Road, it is across from the basketball courts and dumpsters as you pass Contant Point Road on you right, just before the steep hill.

Coming back from Chocolate Hole, you will pass the Westin, go up a long hill, and it will be at the bottom of the steep hill across from the basketball courts.

I definitely know that Starfish will be open that late, Peace Pine is on the left as you head towards Jacobs Ladder just after a building (Blue I think) which looks as if it was made of shipping containers. Its a small sign and a tiny parking lot. Their prices are good.
