normally we arrive with at least one checked bag (kids, wine/food) so we are forced to wait it out at the carousel. This trip, I am flying in solo with no bags (hubby will have taken bags and kids and arived at 12:30--gotten the car gotten to cost u less and over on the car barge by the time i arrive at 4:05
(or at least be well enroute).
I know the taxis wait to fill up before they leave...how likely is it (i am thinking not very) that i will catch the 5pm ferry from red hook? should i bag the idea and take the 5:30 from CA (guess it's sort of a toss, since i end up in CB about the same time?)
next thing is , i HATE to ask said sainted husband after all he has done to drag his tired ass and the kids back from concordia to pick me up--kids should be in the pool, saint husband should be drinking a beer...SO i was thinking of taking the VITRAN out. the lst time i relied on the VITRAN was ten years ago, and , well reliability wasn't their forte--has it gotten any better? i think ia cab would be a ton to get over to concordia-maybe i will jsut park myself in the beach bar and have them fetch me in the morning......
