I just don't understand anyone leaving their sailboat lying on it's side derelict like that! Now it'll really be damaged (if it wasn't before!). I would understand if the owners were off-island, but even at that, I'd get someone else to haul it up onshore for me. Oh, to be rich enough to let my sailboat die! Sheesh! What a waste!

I read somewhere else that the sailboat in the picture belongs to the widow of a long-time STJ resident who recently passed. Don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, may explain why it hasn't been removed.

PJ, sad as that may be, I'd still hire someone to haul it up for me. Did the "long time SJT resident" just pass, or the widow?
