Cool coincidence
Last night my family attended a Lowell Spinners baseball game (NY-Penn League Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox!) as part of a "Baseball Buddies" group. The honorary "Baseball Buddies" was our local cub scout pack, which includes my 7 year old son 
The honor consisted of hanging out with the players in the dugout prior to the game, being paired to and introduced with a player, and standing with that player on the field during the National Anthem. As it turns out, my son was paired with Lowell's first baseman (#25) who is from St Thomas! 
Pretty cool coincidence, especially considering the fact that none of the other players from either team are from anywhere in the VI (or PR for that matter). I was tickled, but I'm weird that way.
