WOW! More power to you... The only way I could do that is if I was swimming behind a boat with a Margarita fountain onboard! Good luck!!

I think you should do it for sure! The short course sounds about right and if you're "assisted", why not?!
I say "Go For It!" I bet you'll get a cool T-shirt!

Why not just blow a horn and have Flipper swim up to you and tow you with his dorsal fin?

Yes! Do it! I wish I would have last May, and if I were down this time, I'd go with you!

I think the "assisted" swim sounds awesome... I can really move with those fins on and my head down snorkeling,
Of course, I'd never make the full course, but what fun!!!

The assisted swim would be really fun! I would not go that distance without fins, but with them on, I could go all the way.
How do you get back to your car though?
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I don't think this sounds crazy. Do you think they would get grumpy if you brought your underwater camera?

Oh Rick - Good idea! You don't want to miss anything that you could post here on the forum!! It would be fun to see pictures of the event from the water too.
Go For It!
