If you file jointly, it seems to reduce in amount after 150K.

Instead of bitchin' you might want to find a new CPA. :D

Man, Jorge, you are pushing one of my buttons. If you work your a$$ off and become successful, you get NOTHING!!!!! If you suck on the government you know what, you get a tax rebate??? How is it a tax rebate if you DIDN'T PAY ANY TAXES!!!!!!!!!! Call it what it is..........a hand out to GET VOTES!!! I'm going to make myself a drink now and "simma" down.

Nothing here. Most annoying. I'm one of those people who would spend the rebate in a heartbeat and keep the economy going, but noooo, that's not gonna happen.

We're getting a rebate. It's going straight into the St. John fund! Thank you for helping to fund our next trip to STJ Unca W! I'll be more than happy to take it out of the country and spend it in the Virgin Islands! :lol:

(I should clarify that I'm definitely NOT a Geo. Bush fan)

My husband laughed when I asked him how much our rebate check would be :oops:

Like martini girl I would definitely put it back in to the economy ASAP.

(I guess I should clarify that I definitely AM a President Bush fan.) :?

Got a rebate- but already live in the VI - so I will it spend on a vacation to the States. Do work my A$$ off here it just isn't the same pay scale.

We also earn less than 150K and work our a$$s off for what we do earn. I always thought that if we could get up over 150K we'd be totally happy. Looks like we'd just find different things to be unhappy about.
