Newbie last minute questions

Post by jgf711 »

We leave this coming Thursday for 10 days in St. John. Two last minute questions...

Do men need long pants for any of the restaurants? Going to Zozo's for our anniversary and will definitely visit a few of the other really nice restaurants.

Do we need sweatshirts at night?

Thanks for all the help from this forum planning our trip. We will be sure to write a trip report on return.

No you don't need long pants wear a pair of zip offs on the plane and don't zip them back on till i,m back on the main land. From Conn. you shouldn't need any long sleeves it will only get down to about 72 to 74 at night. I hope to see you on island we are headed down on the 5th.

Me and my 10 year old do the long pants with zip-off legs too. Sweet Christine just braves the cold in her shorts. It's a quick run to the taxi in the morning.

Easter week my daughters occasionally wore their light zip-up hoodies and Christine wore a button up over a tank top. I never needed to wear anything to stay warm.

I wear a lightweight cardigan on the plane and then have it just in case. Depending on where you are styaing the breezes in the evening can get cool (as cool as 75 degrees can be)

Shorts and a collared shirt are just fine for Zozo's. The food is incredible, you will love it.

Have a great trip and be sure to come back and tell us all about it!
