polar bear coolers-just got 'em!

Post by krislbi »

I can't remember who posted the bogo free coupon, but THANK YOU!! Rec'd the coolers yesterday. They are really nice. Of course I felt the need to get our name monogrammed and my darling husband rolled his eyes, but hey, at least I'll know whose cooler it is after we're done finishing the 24 pack... :)

Funny about the name, I wanted to do the same thing but my hubs also rolled his eyes and I dropped the idea. THEN, when he saw our travelling friend's monogramed polar bear, he said, "why didn't you get ours...."

I bought my mom one for Christmas. Since she couldn't come visit us, and we couldn't go see her I filled it up with cooked/frozen food and techni-ice, boxed it up and sent it to her.

She said when she opened it that she said "that cooler sure is nice - I hope I get to keep it" and my niece told her "I bet you can - it has your name on it!".
Come see us!

Our 48 can version came in the mail this week. It's... big!! It might even be able to keep up with KelleeBrad and the Bs.

Cheers, RickG

when he saw our 48-er, hubs said in all seriousness "that should be big enough for the beach."

I ordered the 24 for regular vacation use as well as the 6 for our son's plane food. We are now like the three (polar) bears - One for papa, mama, and baby bear.

Well, I thought I missed out on the deal. That will teach me to take a forum vacation. I just ordered 5 minutes ago. Got the whole schmeer for half price. Thanks Liamsaunt!

Cool, I'm getting mine too! That's a great deal!!! Question? If one wants to schlep frozen goods down to the islands for a family of four, what size? I'm thinking 24 can should be plenty big enough right?

I would get the bigger size for a family of four. I have the largest size, and I completely filled it in June, and in fact did not fit everything I was planning on packing.

I suppose, too, that it would depend on how much cooking you are planning on doing, and how much stuff you feel like hauling.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
