Flying in tomorrow. What's the deal with this storm?

Weather reports are showing a pretty big storm about 200 miles East of Puerto Rico. They are saying it's packing some heavy t-storms and winds and may have the chance for flash flooding across PR. We are flying into St. Thomas via San Juan tomorrow around noon.
Do you
on island people think we will be OK to land in PR tomorrow morning???

I would think you will be fine - nothing here today - really quick (2 min) showers today, sunshine with occasional cloud coverage, windy but still in the 80's - beautiful

Hi Island Hopper,
That report seems to say it all.
However, if the storm's moving at 20 mph it will be over by the time you need to fly in to PR.
Worst that can happen is a domino-effect delay from flights directly affected by the weather.
I'd put a couple of extra snack bars into my carry on and leave the rest to heaven.
Have a great time

Yea, I think it will be far enough to the west by tomorrow at noon. Best case is we get diverted from San Juan to St. Thomas!!

Since I first posted I have changed my mind
Right now, windy, cold (for me anyway - I'm wearing long sleeves) off and on rain and cloudy
.......but by tomorrow it should be well past us as it is quite a fast moving "storm" and be back to normal.
