Miss Lucy's Full Moon Party - Nov 24th -Quick question
What exactly goes on at Miss Lucy's full moon party?

I think it depends on the crowd but our experience was pretty laid back. Live music by a guy singing some JB & JT and other mellow tunes. Great food. We just ordered the west indian platter which was awesome but there were other choices. Its a little hazy for me (there were a lot of rum punches involved) but it was a fun time. But not the wild party I kind of expected it to be.
Get there a bit early if you want to be outside, the tables out there did fill up fast. There was still room inside though.

The last Ferry is 11:00 back to Red Hook. That is assuming they haven't shut down, or gone on strike.
Hopefully someone else will chime in about the hours. You may want to edit the subject line to included Miss Lucy's Full Moon.

We went once quite a while ago. As mentioned, we didn't find it had a "party" feel to it. Just kind of like going for dinner, only a lot more crowded. Certainly nothing close to the BVI full moon parties. If you do go, definitely get there in time to get a seat outside. I don't think we'd go again, but we might go there the day before or after. Get a spectacular moonrise without the crowd.
Uhhh humm.. I think (Gromit will correct me if I am wrong) that it was 16 painkillers. That includes the one that belonged to the other chick with us who was too wimpy to drink it because it was too strong. I can't remember if I drank hers or if Gromit did.
I think it was Gromit's 10 to my 6. Good times, good times. The ride back to the house was like a roller coaster.

Personally I do not do Full Moon at Miss lucy's - it is OK but not a real "party".
They have live music but the menu is a fixed type menu (when we were there is was a pig roast or a fish dish)
So what we like to do is go the night before or after, the moon is almost full, order off the full menu which is soooo good, almost a guaranteed seat outside and relax

We skip Miss Lucy's Full Moon - too many stories of food running out early and service challenges. We've stopped by late to check things around Easter 2004 and the staff was feeling the strain. We did have a great meal at Shipwreck Landing that night.
