It's too hot to be outside in So. Calif today! At 9:15 this morning our thermometer registered 87 degrees! We'll just lay low, shift to 'island time', have a few lime n' cocounts and sit in front of the fan today. Ahhhh... Labor Day Weekend! Love it!!

Been out sailing on our " Buona Fortuna" My husband's most prized ebay possession. Bought a 22 foot sail boat for $500. Was a nice morning until the wind died about 1;00, good thing we picked up that motor this season

Hell, it's 109 out here in the San Fernando Valley where we are and has been for the last week and looks like till Wednesday next week. Thank goodness for a warm pool and a lot of inside air conditioning.

...just lazin' around. Got one daughter home and the other one flies in for a brief visit tomorrow. Nice to have the whole family together. Drank some wine and played some cards out by the pool. 95 and sunny!

I'm with nothintolose ... Pia, pleeeeeeeeze! We have spent most of the day cleaning out our teenage daughter's room, bathroom, and closet, ugh! We are going to swing by a luau and another cookout in a bit. The highlight of my day so far has been my 10 year old son trying to teach me to play golf. I liked it much more than I thought I would. We may go back tomorrow if my blisters get better!

Jorge, I am hiding inside because my hayfever has gone haywire and my eyes are swollen into little slits and I can barely breathe.

Got back from VT about 4pm and Chip is cooking up a storm. CBGR steaks on the grill, chopped salad, and something else that he says is a surprise. Plus a Greek pasta salad for a family BBQ tomorrow.
