Or, she's the perfect example of someone who is just plain stupid. There's always that.

Her answer reminded me of a certain politician.

Obviously these shows are about the beauty, not the brains!

Yes, she looks incredibly stupid, but I actually felt kind of bad for her. She obviously panicked. I am just really glad that there were no cameras with internet uploading ability around to capture some of the boneheaded things I did and said as a teenager! Only I know the location of the photo albums...

She was on the Today show this morning. I caught the tail end. She seemed like a good kid, actually. Able to laugh at herself, and was actually pretty well-spoken.
She had been nervous. Can't say I blame her. Live interviews can be scary.

You could sort of just see her mind go blank and see the look of terror on her face. She knew she was babbling. It reminded me of the eight grade spelling bee when I spelled "hearsay" instead of "heresy" and I KNEW I was getting it wrong. I'll never forget it!
I now remember that Brian Daniel won and that I came in second. I cannot, however, remember what day it is without looking at a calendar.

It was a very funny video, and now everyone knows who she is. If she'd answered flawlessly it would have been very ho-hum.
