Is there any issues with bringing a case of wine via checked luggage from the US to USVI?

There are no Customs or legal issues - airline issues only.

My wife likes campaign and it's cheaper in St. John than it is in East Texas.
Some stores have web sites that show their prices, so do some comparison shopping before lugging something that heavy.
YMMV depending on what you like to drink.
