Favorite Float

Post by mykidsmom »

I've gotten so many great ideas and tips from this forum on handy items ... I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good travel float for relaxing in the ocean. I know I can just get a cheapie blow up at the store but wondering if there is anything out there that is particularly travel friendly and convenient. Thanks!!

Now, a proper villa owner would spare you the expense, hyperventilation, and luggage space by providing a bright blue Sunbrella version of these extremely comfortable and fast drying floats at their villas, along with an invitation to guests to both use it in the pool, and bring it with them to the beach.

Just sayin'...

We have a tradition of bringing the split ring animal floats. They are small and easy to stuff in the bag. They are comfortable to place in front of or behind your shoulders. If ya ever see a large group of adults floating with duck, dolphins, and turtle split rings it may be us.

Kevin,
In a little bit more than 12 weeks I will be parking myself on that float ! I made the reservation so I am calling it all mine.

We have Spring Floats that we pack with us in our suitcases. They are pretty nice. They blow up around the edges, have a little pillow and it's mesh where you lay. They spring back to a circle to pack. If you google "spring float" you'll see what they look like.

Even though the villa has floats we take one that you can buy at Target for
about 15$. It is the spring float but it is round style. You can sit in it as well as
lay across it and they are small for packing.

Go to Amazon.com and search "Intex Folding Pool Lounge". We bring these every year. I tried to copy and paste a photo but no luck. Enjoy.
