You could throw some Zak Brown on there. And Jason Mraz has a few good island songs too.
Have a great trip! Although, Michigan is slowly starting to thaw. We are moving from our parkas to our regular winter coats now. Maybe in a week or two we'll put a spring jacket on

Re: What's on your Play List??
P.S. Our teens love our classic rock too!
Re: What's on your Play List??
I second Zac Brown Band. I also have some Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, and most of the soundtrack from 50 First Dates.
Re: What's on your Play List??
If there is room on the iPod, you may want to consider the Clash, Talking Heads, Bob Marley and Kenny Chesney, Life on a Rock, the whole album.
Re: What's on your Play List??
Our taste runs all over the place.
Our favorite is:
Cool Change - LIttle River Band (an oldie - but, it does it for us!
Other loves:
Long Way There - Little River Band
Borderline - Inner Visions
Are you Ready - Inner Visions
Into the Night - Santana/Chad (from Nickelback)
I Like It - Enrique Inglesius
Oasis - Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
Hot Summer Night - Grace Potter
Medicine - Grace Potter
(If you don't know Grace Potter, "you tube" her. She is amazing. Very sultry, sexy voice. She did a duet with Kenny "Tequila and me". She is incredible. Check out the "you tube" for Medicine. If that doesn't get you "hooked" - nothing will.)
LOVE this thread and topic!!

Re: What's on your Play List??
These are all great lists. Our group (well ate least the women!) really like Abba - especially Dancing Queen, we tend to sing along . . . . Very loudly! I'm going to listen to some of the suggestions on the above lists that I am not familiar with. One year when we hit an especially rainy week on StJ, my husband created a play list of "rain" songs.
Keep the lists coming and I am going to create a special playlist for out upcoming trip.
