please name villa rentals in Upper Carolina

Post by mnfun2bme »

Still on the hunt and maybe looking for more sunshine than the One Particular Harbor area.... because of this, can anyone name rental options in Upper Carolina?

Thanks

Villa Carolina... in Dec the pool might not be as warm as you are seeking.

We were there in November, 2008... nice villa; two equal bedrooms/baths and a third smaller; AC in bedrooms, great view!
Some of our photos from that stay:

Yes, my avatar is of sunrise from Villa Carolina... I did not steal their pic....

Wow... Villa Carolina is stunning! Those views... just amazing!! It's a bit more than we are able to spend unless airfare drops to almost nothing! LOL Daughter getting married in August.

We just got back from Satinwood - which was awesome. The view was amazing. The pool only got full sun the first half of the day however. The picture below was taken at 2:30 and you can see how were crammed into the last bit of sun.

It didn't bother us, as we go to the beach really early so are in the sun all day up to that point, but if you're looking for afternoon sun in the pool you might not care for it so much

One of my favorite villas (and areas to stay in!) to date is Great Turtle Villa!

We also like the Ajax Peak area, great views and easy drive to North Shore. we stayed at Debolina.

To be honest it has been many years since we stayed here and the only time I have ever put a sweater on in the evening on St. John. But here is Casa Luna. Since we stayed there, which is when the Iraq war started (I said it has been a long time) the villa appears to have gone through some changes for the better. The pool was cool. I mean temperature wise but there is also a hot tub. You are at the top of the ridge looking down into Coral Bay on the south side of the house and toward the BVI on the north side. There is a full wrap around porch, the views are grand and there is a ton of room.

I would check out the villa map so you can get a better sense of the locations of the villas. Then, find the listing for the ones in areas you like or face the direction you want and read up on it.

We're Ajax Peak fans and can usually get sun until 4PM. Still, cooler than the western exposures. Orion's Hill is on top.

Dancing Dolphins. See the video on the Winspree website. Just missed renting it this year at the end of January.

We love Upper Carolina. Skyridge and Satinwood are wonderful. We stayed at both twice.

Friends stayed at Sea Glass, In the Stars and Casa Luna. All very nice.

There is also Tree House, Villa Margharita, Mayan Sky Villa and Tropical Manor. That's all that come to mind right now.

Happy Hunting! Shelley
