Disembarking From Delta 757 at STT?

Post by Teresa_Rae »

I just booked our 10th trip to the rock and this might sound ridiculous but when I land in STT I want off of the plane ASAP...that hot, muggy air reeking of jet fuel can't come soon enough!

You'd think that after so many trips I'd be able to remember this, but do planes always allow passengers to disembark from the from both the front and back of the plane?

I have about 20 different seat options so I'm wondering where is the best place to sit to get off the plane quickly?

Last week on United, they disembarked from both front and back.

USAirways did when we arrived. Plus, you're just so glad to be there :)

So, look at the seating chart to see the seats nearest the doors. One was after the last row on our plane and the other around row 13.

Good luck!

When we flew Delta, we were the first off out of the rear exit. I don't remember the type but it was one of the larger jets.

Thanks, you've confirmed what I thought I remembered :)

STT is the only place I know of that disembarks from both the front and the back in planes that size. When I used to travel often for business the huge double-decker planes would disembark from more than one door, but it's unusual for the size of planes that land at STT to do so. I guess they know that we REALLY want to get off the plane so they eschew island time to let us do it more quickly.
