Re-entry - but what a trip!

Post by augie »

EagleRayLover and myself just got home late last night from our recent soujorn to our favorite little island. We had wonderful weather, great times, great food and drink, and fun with a lot of awesome people!

The three hour drive back from Miami, most of it in rain and thunderstorms, was a slap in the face, but we managed to "keep right" and made it back safe and sound to an enthusiastic greeting from Champ!

I promise to start working on the TR soon, but it may be several days before the installments start showing up - I'm pretty busy at work, and as of today I'll be starting the high school soccer coaching routine after work, but - soon(ish) come!
Come see us!

Welcome back. Biked to work this morning in full rain gear...quite a change from windswept Drunk bay.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

I can't wait for the detailed TR. Leslie gave quite a few enthusiastic posts during the trip; sounds like you guys had a fantastic time and were able to share the fun with so many from the forum family. Ease back in slowly Steve...but I'm not sure you and Leslie do anything slowly (well, except maybe STJ). Anyway, it sounds like you guys had a wonderful trip and I know the SOTB sisters will sorely miss seeing you guys around town this year. Chet, hope you and Barbara had a terrific week as well and the SOTB sisters will missing seeing you guys this year too! Ali~

We leave in 6 days so we'll pick up where y'all left off with STJ fun.

Again, welcome back!

Not particularly any better than late October, but the weather was great, the water clear and warm, and the nightstands solid...

Solid infrastructure is as important as four poster beds and silk scarves. Alessandra can spoil a person.

Anxious to read the full report. Eagle Ray gave us all just enough info that we know the trip was fantastic!

Sounds like it was great. We'll miss you next week. It's not the same without Augie and Rick. Oh well, quicker service at BB. 8)
