Hi - My plan is to mail down a box to connections with our bug spray, sunblock, shampoo, etc. Since we have two kids and one non-stop eating 13 year old boy what do you pack in your box. I thought peanut butter, granola bars, cereal, pringles, nuts, tuna, mayonaise, oatmeal, poptarts. Any other ideas? Thanks so much.

I haven't mailed a box but when I filled up the empty spaces in our luggage, I have taken -
micro popcorn
nuts
oatmeal packets (for the kiddo's breakfast)
granola bars
trail mix
coffee filter
coffee
paper plates/plastic utensils
bags of mini snickers
crystal light mixes

Hawaii - There is a recent thread you might want to look at about the pros and cons of mailings. Just know that some boxes never get there.

Hi Need2GetAway just read the other thread describing how you never received your boxes. Such a shame.
I always debate sending the box but have never tried it.
Last summer we left one decent size suitcase that we checked just for food/sunblock etc. We had cereal, a couple pouches of tuna, small squeezable mayo, small individual sizes of JIF peanut butter, small squeezable jelly, pringles, chips ahoy, crackers, special K bars, micro popcorn, cereal bars, poptarts, coffee. And then in tightly sealed containers, I took several travel size containers of laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, tons of sunblock, tons of bug spray, first aid stuff too...bandaids, neosporin, Benadryl and Benadryl Itch Relief spray, shampoo, hairspray.
