Westin update

I received an email form the Westin stating that the main pool opened yesterday 11/03. Website this morning still stated 11/14.
Tennis courts and several other things are still not scheduled to open back up until early December.

I toured the pool and pool bar at 7:00 AM today and it's almost ready to open. Pool cleaning company needs 8 hours of vacuuming today to get the residual sand out from the storm. Pool has been completely replastered and updated to the existing codes. Beach bar cafe is slated to open this weekend and the pool bar needs a couple more days of electrical upgrades and cabinets. Work crews are working 7/24 starting at 6:30 AM till late in the afternoon. I've been on site for 7 days now and pretty impressed with the progress. Weather is perfect, beaches are the best and the people awesome!!

Work crews are working 7/24 starting at 6:30 AM till late in the afternoon.
I found the above somewhat funny.

I was glad I could bring some humor to someone's life today! Perhaps I should have stated 7/9 1/2. I took for granted all of us St John lovers understand the Island clock. Go Pats!!
