Sorry to hear about your accident. At least you have a decent amount of time to heal up before it's time for St. Thomas! :D
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Post by scoob »

I can hobble quite well now without crutches !!
seeing Dr. next week- not quite ready for work ,but I'm anxious to work on my beach body !! 8)

I am going to bounce back stronger than before-..
Leaving the day of the 8 Tuff miles-- wish it was one day later - it would give me such an incentive !
Always been a runner, but maybe a triathlon is in the works for next year ?
thanks VI forum for giving us hope and warm dreams.. !!

Get well soon! Love the new avatar - I can't wuite figure out how to do that!

I'm thinking triathlons are the way to go - did a few and really enjoy them. Alot more thinking and preparation than running alone. Heal that ankle!

Ankle update....

Post by scoob »

I returned to work on Wednesday, missed the holiday craziness and OT.My ankle is 99% good, but I have to be careful on ice.Soon I will be walking barefoot in sand ! :D
Now I'm working on the extra lbs(10) I put on while laid up..but then again there all kinds of beach bodies and we don't judge when in the islands !!!

20 degrees and light snow-- gees-enough !!

Isn't walking in the sand supposed to be good therapy for that ankle?

Glad to hear you're almost back to 100%
